I am sorry for your loss Mr. Rosenberg and I agree with you on most of your points. But I have to say, you are part of the problem. You stated, “As a lifelong very liberal Democrat” and I knew you probably voted in the liberal Democrats who are causing this illegal immigration policy that is killing Americans. Writing letters to the pos you voted for will not solve the issue, it won’t change anything, it won’t help you. Voting them out will. I cannot separate those politicians who are pro-amnesty and advocate open borders with those who voted them in.
I can only assume that you are a member of the Tea Party as many Republicans favor “immigration reform” as well and when they had control of all three branches of government they did nothing. I have faced that criticism in the past that it is my fault as well. The problem with that is you assume that I approve of all of the other positions of the Tea Party and I don’t. If we had a government run by those who strongly oppose illegal immigration we would also have a government that pushed positions on almost all other issues of which I oppose.
I am so sorry about the loss of your son, what about the illegal woman who killed the two little girls and she was never convicted by a immigration judge what is wrong this dam country and our laws we have no rights here anymore my sibling tried to get food stamps and was denied and is an American citizen but to no avail these illegals get food and medical help so
how about that.
